About the Role
Paras Energy, a diversified and internationally recognized power generation and distribution company incorporated in 2002, is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will provide independent, objective oversight of project activities, ensuring stringent adherence to OEM guidelines, accurate performance reporting, and successful project delivery across our various sites.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor ongoing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) activities to ensure alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and document progress through detailed, objective reporting.
- Implement robust project controls to track milestones, manage risks, and perform variance analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to resolve site bottlenecks and ensure compliance with safety and operational guidelines.
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports for management, highlighting performance metrics and areas requiring intervention.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline.
- 3 to 7 years of relevant professional experience in project monitoring, project controls, site inspection, or PMU functions.
- Proven proficiency in using MS Project or Primavera P6 for scheduling and resource management.
- Demonstrated experience working on EPC, renewable energy, solar, infrastructure, or heavy construction projects.
- High flexibility and willingness to travel frequently and undertake extended field deployments across various project locations in Nigeria.
