We are currently seeking an accomplished and visionary Project Director to provide executive leadership and steer our ambitious portfolio of large-scale construction projects from inception to successful handover.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of large-scale construction and real estate development projects from initial planning to final handover.
- Drive project strategy, comprehensive budgeting, rigorous cost control, quality assurance, and proactive risk management.
- Lead, mentor, and manage project managers, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Ensure strict adherence to construction standards, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) compliance, and local regulatory requirements.
- Negotiate effectively with stakeholders, vendors, and partners to secure optimal project outcomes and resource allocation.
- Maintain high standards of integrity and accountability to guarantee project delivery within approved timelines and financial budgets.
- BSc or HND in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a closely related field.
- 15 to 20 years of proven experience in construction, real estate development, or infrastructure project management, with significant senior leadership exposure.
- Possession of relevant professional certifications and active membership in recognized industry bodies is a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully overseeing complex, large-scale construction projects in Nigeria or similar markets.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic decision-making, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern construction operations, methodologies, and regulatory compliance.
