About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a leading provider of outsourcing, technical staffing, and consultancy services to the Nigerian oil and gas sector. We are currently looking for a dedicated and meticulous Project Cost Controller to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing project finances, ensuring compliance with corporate standards, and supporting our technical teams to achieve optimal budget performance on complex engineering and drilling operations.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare annual corporate and partner budgets in collaboration with technical leads.
- Develop revised financial forecasts based on updated project work scopes.
- Participate in NUIMS Sub-Committee meetings to secure necessary budget approvals.
- Execute month-end closure documentation, including manual accruals and journal entries.
- Ensure full adherence to SOX compliance standards across all financial tasks.
- Deliver comprehensive monthly cost reports featuring detailed variance analyses.
- Provide accurate financial data for NUIMS cash calls to guarantee operational funding.
- Process, verify, and reconcile invoices and technical cost sheets against SAP values.
- Create RFS purchase orders and maintain schedules for rigorous cost tracking.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years of proven finance or cost control experience within the oil and gas industry.
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
