Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures and practical demonstrations in Medical Biochemistry for MBBS, BDS, and Allied Health Science students in compliance with NUC and MDCN standards.
- Oversee student assessment processes, including Continuous Assessments, examinations, and professional board examinations.
- Manage laboratory safety, equipment calibration, and enforce standard operating procedures for practical training.
- Lead high-impact research initiatives, secure grants, and mentor junior faculty members and postgraduate students.
- Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, departmental administration, and institutional accreditation processes.
- A mandatory Doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry or a closely related relevant field from a recognized university.
- A minimum of twelve (12) years of extensive post-qualification teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- An exemplary, verifiable record of scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals and books.
- Proven capacity for academic leadership, strategic vision, and successful postgraduate student supervision.
