About the Role
Sambus Geospatial Nigeria Limited, the premier geospatial intelligence company and sole distributor of Esri software, Trimble, and L3Harris products across West Africa, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Professional Service Lead to join our growing team. In this strategic role, you will spearhead project delivery, provide expert technical direction, and play a pivotal part in supporting our business development initiatives across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the comprehensive planning and execution of complex geospatial projects, ensuring strict adherence to quality standards, timelines, and financial budgets.
- Provide high-level technical leadership and innovative guidance on advanced GIS solutions, including ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, NV5, and other industry-standard geospatial platforms.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and partner closely with the Sales and Business Development teams to craft winning technical proposals and address client requirements.
- Supervise, mentor, and actively develop the professional services team to continuously elevate technical capabilities and enhance project delivery outcomes.
- Monitor departmental performance, compile comprehensive periodic reports, develop accurate annual budgets, and meticulously track expenditures.
- Drive operational efficiency, cultivate enduring client relationships, and champion the achievement of strategic departmental goals.
- Bachelor's degree or recognized professional qualification in Geospatial Science, GIS, Surveying, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience within the geospatial or GIS industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in successful geospatial project implementation and proven team leadership capabilities.
- High proficiency in Esri ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, NV5, and related modern GIS technologies.
- Sound knowledge of advanced spatial analysis, data manipulation, remote sensing, GPS/GNSS technologies, and enterprise geodatabases.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal management skills.
- Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or SQL will be considered a distinct advantage.
