About the Role
Glow FM Akure is a vibrant and popular radio station broadcasting from the heart of Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria. Operating on 99.1 FM, we have become a household name in the region, known for entertaining and informing a wide audience of listeners. We are currently looking for a skilled Professional Driver to join our dedicated team and support our daily operational logistics.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport station staff, management, and guests to and from designated locations within and outside Akure.
- Maintain the assigned company vehicle in a clean, roadworthy, and serviceable condition at all times.
- Observe all traffic laws, road regulations, and safety protocols to ensure passenger security.
- Conduct routine daily checks on vehicle fluids, tires, brakes, and fuel levels.
- Promptly report any mechanical faults, accidents, or near-misses to company management.
- Run official station errands, including picking up and delivering packages or documents as required.
- Minimum of a Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSCE).
- Valid and up-to-date professional driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven professional driving experience, preferably within Ondo State and familiarity with local routes.
- Good communication skills and a courteous, professional demeanor.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding company and passenger matters.
