About the Role
Scruples Resources, a leading provider of human resources and consultancy services for the Nigerian economy, is seeking an experienced Production Technologist III. In this critical role, you will coordinate well completion designs, drive well, reservoir, and facility management (WRFM), and optimize production systems to maximize hydrocarbon recovery in alignment with strategic asset goals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead well performance modelling, sand control design, upper completion design, and artificial lift strategies for oil and gas wells.
- Coordinate WRFM activities, well integrity management, and production system optimisation to safeguard company assets.
- Drive short-term production forecasts, identify oil and gas opportunities, and manage flow assurance throughout the asset lifecycle.
- Identify problem wells, design chemical or hydraulic stimulation treatments, and supervise water or gas shut-off operations.
- Collaborate with JV partners, regulatory bodies, and cross-functional teams to secure approvals and ensure cost-efficient operations.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to associate production technologists to foster professional growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Extensive demonstrable experience in production technology within the oil and gas sector.
- Strong expertise in well completion design, sand control, artificial lift systems, and IPSM modelling.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder relationships, including JV partners and regulators.
