About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is recruiting a skilled Production Supervisor to manage daily operations at our client's feed mill facility. This role is critical to ensuring smooth production processes, maintaining product quality, and driving operational efficiency across the plant.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in feed mill operations, whether in raw materials handling or finished products management, and will be responsible for supervising staff, monitoring inventory, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily production activities and ensure production targets are consistently met.
- Efficiently manage raw materials or finished products within the feed mill.
- Ensure product quality and full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate, up-to-date production records.
- Coordinate effectively with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Logistics departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to maximize productivity and morale.
- Identify opportunities to minimize waste and continuously improve operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot production issues promptly to avoid downtime and delays.
- Minimum of an SSCE qualification; further education in a related field is an advantage.
- 2-5 years of proven experience working in a feed mill environment.
- Strong knowledge of feed manufacturing processes and operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven production environment.
- Hands-on experience in either raw materials or finished products handling within a feed mill setting.
