About the Role
Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, a leading indigenous pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Nigeria, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Production Shift Lead. In this role, you will oversee production activities and manpower during your assigned shift, ensuring that all manufacturing processes and quality records are completed in strict accordance with standard operating procedures while maintaining high cGMP, safety, and equipment readiness standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and distribute shift manpower efficiently to ensure optimum utilization of plant capacity.
- Execute manufacturing processes and accurately complete quality records including BMR, BPR, ECR, and logbooks as per SOPs.
- Maintain strict adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), ICH Q7, and facility safety norms.
- Ensure correct batch charging, sampling procedures, and equipment cleaning are consistently performed.
- Monitor and record critical environmental parameters such as humidity and temperature.
- Verify equipment calibration and qualification activities while coordinating with the maintenance team to minimize unplanned breakdowns.
- Coordinate seamlessly with Engineering, Quality Control (QC), and Quality Assurance (QA) departments.
- Schedule and facilitate required technical and safety training for plant personnel.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on production operations experience within the chemical synthesis or pharmaceutical API industry, with proven shift coordination experience.
- Strong technical competencies in manufacturing execution, documentation, GMP, ICH Q7, and equipment maintenance verification.
