About the Role
Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited is a wholly private indigenous pharmaceutical manufacturing group founded in 1984 by Dr. Stella C. Okoli, OON. Renowned as a market leader in Nigeria and across the West African coast, we specialize in producing high-quality pharmaceutical products and medical consumables that offer exceptional value. We are currently looking for a dedicated and safety-conscious Production Operator for our Crude Area to operate manufacturing equipment, handle basic utilities, and execute solvent distillation processes in alignment with our strict quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operate key production machinery including reactors, centrifuges, Fluid Bed Dryers (FBD), Powder transfer systems (PTS), Sparkler filters, and secondary filters.
- Manage basic plant utilities such as vacuum systems, cooling lines, and chilling plants efficiently.
- Execute solvent distillation operations utilizing reactors and distillation columns safely and accurately.
- Adhere strictly to standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and quality assurance guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily production targets while maintaining discipline and attention to detail.
- Hold an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or NABTEB certificate in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on production operations experience within the chemical synthesis or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrate strong technical competency in operating reactors, filtration systems, and distillation columns.
- Exhibit high safety consciousness, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to follow complex technical instructions precisely.
