About the Role
Viju Industries Nigeria Limited, a renowned leader in the beverage production industry, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Production Manager with specialized expertise in injection molding. In this critical role, you will oversee the end-to-end manufacturing of high-quality plastic bottles, ensuring optimal machine performance, minimal downtime, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily injection molding operations for PE, PET, and PP plastic bottles to meet production targets.
- Provide hands-on technical support and routine maintenance for large-scale injection molding machines.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues swiftly to reduce operational bottlenecks.
- Implement stringent quality control measures to inspect molded products for defects and consistency.
- Supervise, train, and mentor production floor staff, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and accountability.
- Optimize raw material usage and manage inventory levels to minimize waste and reduce production costs.
- Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and environmental policies across the manufacturing facility.
- Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Production Manager or similar senior role within a plastics manufacturing or beverage bottling environment.
- Demonstrated hands-on expertise with injection molding processes for PE, PET, and PP materials.
- In-depth technical knowledge of large injection molding machines, including setup, calibration, and predictive maintenance.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams in a fast-paced industrial setting.
