About the Role
Reliable Steel & Plastic Ind. Ltd., a trusted leader in manufacturing since 1998, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Production Manager to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will lead our manufacturing operations, ensuring optimal machine performance, efficient resource allocation, and strict adherence to quality and safety standards across our production units.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and oversee daily manufacturing activities to achieve approved production targets.
- Supervise production personnel, ensuring effective workforce utilization and adherence to company policies.
- Monitor the operation of plastic injection moulding and blow moulding machines to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the Quality Control department to reduce product defects and maintain high standards.
- Manage raw material consumption and implement cost-control strategies without compromising quality.
- Ensure strict compliance with workplace safety standards, standard operating procedures, and housekeeping guidelines.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or Polymer Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in plastic manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Hands-on knowledge of injection moulding, blow moulding, and plastic processing machinery.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills with proficiency in production reporting systems.
