About the Role
G-Prest Imperial Limited is a dynamic agro-allied manufacturing company dedicated to adding value to Nigeria's agricultural sector through the production of premium animal feeds under the Ginika Feeds brand. We are committed to fostering food security, sustainable development, and economic growth. We are currently looking for a results-driven Production Manager to lead our daily automated feed mill operations in Owerri, ensuring optimal efficiency, stringent quality control, and rigorous safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily feed production operations to ensure compliance with strict quality standards and company targets.
- Ensure full adherence to safety protocols, workplace hygiene, and relevant regulatory requirements including SON and NAFDAC.
- Manage raw material inventory effectively, minimize production waste, and continuously improve overall mill output.
- Lead, schedule, mentor, and appraise the factory production team to maximize productivity and morale.
- Collaborate closely with the maintenance team for timely equipment servicing and minimal downtime.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive daily and weekly production reports directly to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
- Bachelor’s degree or B.Tech in Production Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Agriculture, Animal Science, Animal Production, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in feed production, encompassing poultry feed, fish feed, premix, or a closely related manufacturing line.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with industrial production software and automated mill controls.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and supervise diverse factory workforces effectively.
- Must be willing to reside and work full-time at our facility in Owerri, Imo State.
