About the Role
Chowdeck is a leading technology company providing seamless logistics and delivery services to vendors and consumers across Nigeria. We are seeking a talented Product Lead, Quick Commerce to own our quick commerce ecosystem across Chowstore, Shops, and Local Markets. In this vital role, you will shape the customer shopping experience while simultaneously building the robust operating systems that drive inventory, availability, picking, and fulfillment. You will report directly to the Product Executive, working closely with cross-functional teams to balance rapid growth with flawless operational execution.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the comprehensive Quick Commerce product strategy across Chowstore, Shops, and Local Markets.
- Design seamless category-specific discovery, basket-building, and mobile shopping experiences.
- Manage the end-to-end dark-store inventory lifecycle, including intake, counts, availability, adjustments, and financial reconciliation.
- Optimize picking, substitution, order readiness, and overall fulfillment support systems.
- Maintain a single prioritized roadmap that aligns customer-facing features with physical store operations.
- Partner closely with operations teams to translate physical workflows into reliable digital systems.
- Mitigate operational friction by minimizing stock-related cancellations, shrinkage, waste, and refunds.
- At least 6 years of professional product management experience, specifically within commerce, retail technology, inventory, or fulfillment products.
- Proven track record of successfully owning both customer-facing applications and complex operational internal systems.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn messy physical workflows into simple, scalable digital products.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams spanning product, design, engineering, and operations.
- Bonus points for prior experience with dark stores, grocery mobile commerce, supply chain procurement, or launching new physical markets.
