We are seeking an experienced Product Designer with a passion for user-centered design and the ability to translate complex health solutions into intuitive, seamless experiences. You will lead our design strategy, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver products that prioritize usability, accessibility, and user satisfaction across Africa's healthcare landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Define, develop, and maintain the product roadmap, incorporating market research and business opportunities
- Conduct regular user engagement sessions across multiple channels to gather actionable feedback
- Specify product requirements, feature prioritization, and key messaging in collaboration with stakeholders
- Design intuitive user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
- Lead comprehensive customer experience analysis to identify pain points and improvement opportunities
- Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and design sprints to validate design decisions
- Define KPIs and success metrics to drive product performance
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to solve complex design challenges
- Develop product training materials for internal and external stakeholders
- Bachelor's Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, or related field (postgraduate qualification preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of professional Product Design experience with strong portfolio
- Proven track record launching and maintaining successful digital products
- Proficiency in design tools: Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
- Deep understanding of market trends, user behavior, and competitive landscape
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with product managers and engineers
- Basic knowledge of web development, databases, and infrastructure
- Excellent project management and communication abilities
