Many of our customers are new to digital products, operating on low-end devices and unreliable networks where every interaction matters. As a Product Design Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of product designers, ensuring our solutions are accessible, reliable, and impactful across POS, mobile, and web platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Set the strategic design direction for your product area, translating business goals into actionable plans with measurable outcomes.
- Lead and mentor a team of product designers, fostering a culture of high quality through rigorous design critiques and accessibility standards.
- Build trusted partnerships with product and engineering teams to ensure design integrity from conception to launch.
- Integrate AI tools into the design process, modeling responsible usage and building fluency across your team.
- Maintain cohesive user journeys across platforms while leveraging and contributing to the core design system.
- 10+ years of product design experience with a robust portfolio showcasing mobile and web projects.
- 3+ years of experience managing, hiring, and coaching product design talent.
- Proven track record of setting design direction and implementing quality practices like accessibility and design systems.
- Experience designing for users on limited connectivity and devices, with fintech or POS experience being a strong advantage.
