About the Role
Taeillo is a pioneering Nigerian furniture and lifestyle brand merging culture, design, and technology to craft premium urban furniture. We are currently looking for a dynamic and proactive Procurement Officer to drive our purchasing operations and ensure a seamless supply chain for our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Source, vet, and evaluate reliable suppliers for raw materials including wood, foam, fabrics, leather, and hardware.
- Obtain competitive quotations, negotiate favorable pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders in alignment with company policies and production timelines.
- Collaborate closely with production, warehouse, and finance teams to anticipate material needs and prevent stockouts.
- Monitor supplier performance, ensure strict quality assurance, and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Identify continuous cost-saving opportunities while upholding the highest material standards.
- HND or B.Sc. in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven procurement experience, preferably within manufacturing, furniture production, or construction industries.
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern inventory or procurement software.
