About the Role
Redline Synergy & Systems Limited is a leading service provider known for excellence and quality project execution from conception to handover. We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving our procurement operations, ensuring cost-efficiency, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations within the oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities- Source prospective suppliers and develop compelling bid cost proposals for contracts, RFQs, RFIs, RFXs, and other tenders.
- Review quotations for accuracy, oversee execution, and prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain and develop databases to report ongoing purchase orders and meticulous records of all purchasing activities including pricing data.
- Ensure delivered orders match original specifications and quantities, while tracking progress from initial purchase to final delivery.
- Continuously expand and update the company supplier database, evaluating qualifications, delivery times, and future potential.
- Communicate delivery status updates to accounting and expediting departments to facilitate timely invoicing upon receipt of goods.
- Respond to and follow up on technical queries related to RFQs, RFIs, RFXs, and other tenders received by the company.
- Minimum of HND or B.Sc in a relevant discipline.
- At least 4 years of cognate procurement experience specifically within the Oil and Gas sector.
- Proficiency in procurement software platforms such as Nipex, Ariba, and SmartGEP.
- Good understanding of Nigerian oil and gas procurement regulations and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and record-keeping skills with high attention to detail.
