About the Role

In this role, you will play a crucial part in our supply chain operations, ensuring efficient purchasing, strong supplier relations, and timely delivery of goods to support our expanding business footprint across Africa.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and source new suppliers while maintaining strong, mutually beneficial relationships with existing vendors.
- Receive, review, and sort purchase plans efficiently from various business centers.
- Place orders promptly leveraging exceptional negotiation skills, strong cost awareness, and budgetary discipline.
- Prepare import certificate applications and ensure accurate, on-time order delivery.
- Coordinate resolution for after-sales disputes, including addressing quality issues, product shortages, and delivery discrepancies.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as a procurement officer, purchasing agent, or in a similar supply chain role within the FMCG industry.
- Strong working knowledge of import certificate applications and logistics processes.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of cost awareness with sharp attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and Microsoft Office Suite.
