About the Role
BIC Nigeria, a leading agribusiness company committed to sustainable food production and agricultural innovation, is seeking a results-driven Process Optimizer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in analyzing manufacturing processes, optimizing machine performance, and minimizing waste to ensure consistent product excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze molding processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Optimize molding machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, injection speed, and cooling time to maximize productivity and product quality.
- Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and implement strategic initiatives to enhance machine utilization.
- Conduct root cause analysis on production issues, defects, and downtime to execute effective corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime through preventive measures.
- Support new product introductions by establishing robust molding processes and validating production readiness.
- Train production operators and technicians on optimized processes, best practices, and safety standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in molding operations, manufacturing process optimization, or production engineering within Nigeria.
- Strong technical knowledge of injection molding processes and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis, quality management systems, and data-driven problem-solving.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production monitoring tools.
