We are currently looking for a visionary Principal Mobile Engineer (POS Terminal) to architect and scale our cutting-edge payment hardware and software solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, architecture, and deployment of secure, scalable POS terminal solutions and related mobile applications.
- Establish architectural standards, ensuring seamless integration with diverse hardware peripherals, payment gateways, and EMV security protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to align technical vision with overarching business objectives.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and champion best practices in Android Native and cross-platform mobile development.
- Provide technical mentorship to engineering teams, fostering professional growth and operational excellence.
- Drive the recruitment process by evaluating top-tier engineering talent specializing in POS and embedded systems.
- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in system design, architecture, and software development within the POS terminal domain.
- Expertise in Android Native development (Java/Kotlin) combined with a deep understanding of Android-based POS hardware.
- Working knowledge of cross-platform frameworks like Flutter and familiarity with embedded languages such as C and JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of EMV security protocols, chip-based transactions, encryption standards, and terminal key management.
- Proven leadership capabilities with a track record of mentoring engineers and improving developer productivity.
