As a Primary School Teacher at Acmecare Montessori Academy, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic and social foundation of our pupils. You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons that align with the national curriculum while fostering a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the approved primary school curriculum
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils
  • Create a positive, well-managed, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
  • Identify and support pupils with varying learning needs and abilities
  • Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, grades, and behavioral reports
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers, school administrators, and parents to support pupil development
  • Organize and participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and educational excursions
  • Enforce school policies, rules, and standards of discipline consistently and fairly
  • Continuously update teaching methods and materials to reflect best practices in education
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding pupil performance and behavior

Qualifications
  • M.Sc, B.Ed, or B.Sc with PGDE (Postgraduate Diploma in Education)
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably at the primary school level
  • Strong knowledge of child development and modern teaching methodologies
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for teaching young children
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications for record-keeping and lesson preparation
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
