About the Role
Brickhall School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Class Teacher to join our team of education professionals in delivering high-quality, engaging instruction to young learners. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the approved curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active learning
- Assess, monitor, and record pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to parents and school management
- Utilise modern teaching aids and audiovisual tools to enhance classroom instruction
- Prepare pupils for internal assessments and, where applicable, IGCSE/Cambridge Checkpoint examinations
- Maintain discipline and foster good conduct in line with the school's values and policies
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to plan school activities, projects, and extracurricular programmes
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding pupils' academic and social development
- Continuously develop professional knowledge and teaching skills through training and workshops
Qualifications
- B.Ed, B.Sc, or B.A with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)
- Proficiency in the British Curriculum is an added advantage
- Minimum of 2-5 years' cognate teaching experience in a reputable school or organisation
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
- Candidates applying for IGCSE/Checkpoint positions must have proven experience delivering the British Curriculum and preparing students for Cambridge examinations
