About the Role
Queen Saudat Academy, a reputable government-approved and NECO-approved institution located in Gusau, Zamfara State, is seeking a passionate and qualified Primary 1 Teacher. Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective daily lessons tailored to Primary 1 students following the approved curriculum.
- Create a stimulating, safe, and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and positive behavior.
- Assess, monitor, and record students' academic progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Instill strong moral values, discipline, and punctuality in line with the ethos of Queen Saudat Academy.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school administration in organizing school events, extracurricular activities, and parent-teacher meetings.
- Possession of relevant educational qualifications such as an NCE, B.Ed., or other appropriate certifications in education.
- Good communication skills and strong proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written.
- A genuine passion for teaching, early childhood development, and working with young children.
- Strict commitment to punctuality, professional conduct, and institutional discipline.
- Previous teaching experience in a primary school setting will be an added advantage.
