We are currently seeking a professional and courteous Porter to join our elite team. In this role, you will serve as a vital first point of contact for our esteemed residents and guests, ensuring their arrival and departure experiences are seamless, welcoming, and reflective of our uncompromising luxury standards. Key Responsibilities- Greet residents and guests warmly upon arrival, offering prompt and courteous assistance with luggage and belongings.
- Maintain the cleanliness, order, and presentation of the lobby, entrance, and public areas at all times.
- Manage valet parking coordination and assist guests with transportation inquiries, local directions, and booking requests.
- Receive, log, and securely deliver packages, mail, and deliveries to residents in a timely and professional manner.
- Respond promptly to resident inquiries and special requests with discretion, efficiency, and a positive attitude.
- Collaborate closely with the front desk, housekeeping, and concierge teams to ensure a cohesive luxury experience.
- Adhere strictly to all safety, security, and brand standards established by District 9 Branded Residences.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent relevant educational qualification.
- Proven previous experience working as a Porter, Bellhop, or in a similar guest-facing hospitality role within luxury hotels, serviced apartments, or high-end residential estates.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with a polished professional appearance.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and handle heavy luggage and packages.
- Strong situational awareness, problem-solving abilities, and absolute discretion regarding resident privacy.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required by luxury hospitality operations.
- Familiarity with the Abuja luxury property market is a distinct advantage.
