About the Role
Golden Bell's Multi Concepts (GBMC) Limited is a premier hospitality consulting and management firm committed to delivering exceptional service and world-class leisure experiences. We are currently seeking a dynamic and safety-conscious Pool Personnel to join our vibrant Gym and Swimming Pool department at our Peter Odili location in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining pristine pool standards, ensuring the safety of all guests, and providing top-notch customer service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor swimming pool activities constantly to ensure the safety and security of all guests and swimmers.
- Perform routine water quality testing and apply necessary chemical treatments to maintain optimal sanitation levels.
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, changing rooms, and surrounding recreational areas.
- Enforce all facility rules and regulations politely and firmly to prevent accidents.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, providing rescue and first aid as required.
- Assist guests with inquiries, towel services, and general pool-side amenities to ensure high satisfaction.
- Minimum of a SSCE, OND, or equivalent relevant qualification in a related discipline.
- Proven work experience in pool maintenance, lifeguarding, or a similar hospitality role is an added advantage.
- Valid certification in CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguarding is highly preferred.
- Strong swimming abilities and physical fitness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.
