About the Role
Golden Bell's Multi Concepts (GBMC) Limited, a premier hospitality consulting and management firm, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Plumber to join our team in Peter Odili, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our hospitality properties maintain the highest standards of operational efficiency, guest comfort, and safety by delivering exceptional plumbing installation and maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect, install, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, and equipment in hospitality facilities.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on all water supply, drainage, and sewage systems to prevent costly breakdowns.
- Respond promptly to plumbing emergency call-outs and resolve issues efficiently with minimal disruption to guests.
- Unclog drains, repair burst pipes, fix leaking faucets, and service water heaters and pressure pumps.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping and facility management departments to address maintenance tickets in a timely manner.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of plumbing tools, replacement parts, and supplies, submitting requisition requests as needed.
- Trade Test Certificate, City & Guilds, Ordinary National Diploma (OND), or relevant professional certification in Plumbing and Pipefitting.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven hands-on plumbing experience, preferably within the hospitality, hotel, or facility management sector.
- Strong working knowledge of water distribution and disposal systems in commercial or residential properties.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Good communication skills and a customer-centric attitude suitable for a hospitality environment.
- Must reside in or be willing to commute to Peter Odili, Port Harcourt.
