About the Role

BlueBrain Services Ltd is looking for a highly experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and performance of our manufacturing plant. This role is ideal for an Electrical/Electronics Engineer with strong leadership skills and a passion for operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day plant operations to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency
  • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all plant equipment
  • Monitor plant performance and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate plant personnel to drive high performance and accountability
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and production interruptions
  • Ensure electrical installations and operations comply with NEMSA regulations and industry standards
  • Prepare operational reports, maintenance records, and performance analyses for management
  • Develop and monitor plant budgets, maintenance costs, and resource utilization
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Engineering teams to achieve operational objectives
  • Manage inventory levels for spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials
  • Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure all plant assets are properly maintained and utilized effectively

 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.Eng. or B.Sc.) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in plant management, plant maintenance, or manufacturing operations
  • Valid COREN Registration (Compulsory)
  • Valid NEMSA Certification/Licence (Compulsory)
  • Proven experience managing electrical systems, industrial equipment, and plant maintenance
  • Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams
  • Additional certifications in Project Management, HSE, Maintenance Management, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma are an added advantage
