Aldelia Limited is a leading recruitment specialist in the Oil & Gas sector, delivering innovative solutions across key strategic regions globally. We are recruiting a Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a critical role in the successful execution of major projects.
As a Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining integrated project schedules, conducting detailed schedule analysis, and ensuring projects remain on track. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and construction to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Prepare project baselines, work breakdown structures (WBS), and comprehensive execution schedules
- Monitor project progress, identify schedule variances, and recommend effective recovery plans
- Produce weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves, dashboards, and look-ahead schedules
- Conduct schedule risk analysis, forecasting, and critical path analysis
- Coordinate planning activities with engineering, procurement, construction, and project teams
- Support project controls by monitoring performance against approved schedules
- Participate in project review meetings and provide timely schedule updates to stakeholders
- Ensure all planning activities comply with company procedures and project requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 10 years' planning experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, or EPIC projects
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Strong expertise in project scheduling, progress monitoring, forecasting, and reporting
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to relocate as required
