About the Role
Sportivation Radio is an innovative digital sports radio station based in Lagos, Nigeria, dedicated to delivering timely, credible, and passionate sports coverage and conversations. As a rapidly growing platform launched in January 2026 by Sportivation Media, we are looking for a vibrant Pidgin Sports On-Air Personality (OAP) to captivate our audience with expert sports analysis, high-energy presenting, and engaging listener interactions.
Key Responsibilities- Host and manage daily sports radio shows broadcast primarily in Nigerian Pidgin English.
- Deliver well-researched, accurate, and engaging sports commentary, news, and match analyses.
- Conduct compelling live interviews with athletes, coaches, and key sports industry stakeholders.
- Interact dynamically with listeners via phone calls, social media, and live chat platforms during broadcasts.
- Collaborate with the production team to brainstorm show concepts, segments, and special sports coverage.
- Represent Sportivation Radio professionally at live sporting events and promotional functions.
- Proven experience as a sports OAP, broadcaster, or radio presenter with exceptional Pidgin English delivery.
- Deep and extensive knowledge of local and international sports, especially football.
- Strong voice modulation, excellent communication, and charismatic on-air presence.
- Ability to think quickly, manage live broadcasts seamlessly, and handle unscripted moments professionally.
- Relevant academic qualifications in mass communication, journalism, or a related field.
