About the Role
Masters Ville Children School is seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical & Health Education Teacher to join our team of committed educators. This role is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about promoting physical fitness, healthy living, and holistic child development within a nurturing Montessori-inspired environment.
As a Physical & Health Education Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging physical education and health lessons that support the overall growth and well-being of children across the Pre-school and Elementary sections. You will play a key role in helping students build confidence, coordination, and lifelong healthy habits.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver age-appropriate physical education and health lessons in line with the school curriculum
- Organise indoor and outdoor physical activities, games, and exercises that promote motor skills and fitness
- Teach students about personal hygiene, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices
- Monitor and assess students' physical development and progress
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment during all physical activities
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate health and physical education into broader learning objectives
- Organise and coordinate sports events, competitions, and extracurricular physical activities
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' physical development and participation
- Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, performance, and progress in physical education classes
- Continuously update knowledge of best practices in physical and health education
- Minimum of NCE (NCE, B.Ed., B.Sc./B.A. with PGDE or equivalent)
- Relevant teaching experience in a reputable school, preferably in physical or health education
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
- ICT compliant with the ability to integrate technology into classroom instruction
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with children of various age groups
- Willingness to grow, learn, and adapt continually in a dynamic educational setting
