About the Role
Misters of Nigeria, a premier male pageant platform based in Lagos, is seeking a skilled and creative Photographer to join its dynamic team. Founded in 2020 by 97th Entertainment, Misters of Nigeria has quickly established itself as one of the country's most respected male pageant brands, celebrated for developing young men into global leaders while showcasing the nation's rich diversity. The brand's excellence was recognised with the "Best Male Pageant Brand of the Year" award at the 2024 Eko Heritage Awards. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a prestigious and rapidly growing organisation, capturing key moments across events, rehearsals, photoshoots, and promotional campaigns.
Key Responsibilities- Capture high-quality photographs during pageant events, rehearsals, auditions, and promotional shoots.
- Edit and retouch images to align with the brand's visual identity and standards.
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to conceptualise visual content for campaigns.
- Organise, archive, and manage photo libraries for easy access and future use.
- Ensure timely delivery of edited photographs for social media, press, and marketing purposes.
- Travel to various event locations within Lagos and other states as required.
- Maintain and manage photography equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Stay updated on photography trends and techniques relevant to entertainment and lifestyle branding.
- Relevant qualification and proven experience in photography, preferably in events, fashion, or entertainment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous photography work.
- Proficiency in photo editing software such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
- Excellent eye for detail, composition, and lighting.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines during live events.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Own or have access to professional photography equipment.
