About the Role
Eden Solutions and Resources Ltd is currently recruiting a qualified and passionate Pharmacist on behalf of our esteemed healthcare clients in Nigeria. The successful candidate will play a critical role in dispensing medications, providing exceptional pharmaceutical care, counselling patients, and ensuring the safe, effective use of medicines in strict accordance with professional standards and healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately and efficiently.
- Review prescriptions thoroughly to ensure appropriate medication, correct dosage, and safe administration routes.
- Provide professional advice and compassionate counselling to patients regarding medication use, potential side effects, and possible drug interactions.
- Monitor patients' medication therapy continuously and actively promote rational drug use.
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory, monitor stock levels closely, and ensure proper storage conditions for all medications.
- Track drug expiry dates rigorously and maintain full compliance with national pharmaceutical regulations.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all prescriptions and medication dispensing activities.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic and quality patient care.
- Promote public health awareness and educate patients on preventative healthcare measures and disease prevention.
- Uphold the highest standards of professional ethics, integrity, and regulatory guidelines at all times.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Must be duly registered with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Must possess a valid, current practicing licence.
- Prior working experience in a community or hospital pharmacy setting is an added advantage.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
