Key Responsibilities- Assist the Pastry Chef in the daily preparation, baking, and presentation of pastries, breads, desserts, and confectioneries.
- Ensure all food preparation meets the highest standards of hygiene, quality, and presentation as set by the luxury establishment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all pastry workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
- Manage inventory of pastry ingredients, report shortages, and handle stock rotation properly to minimize waste.
- Collaborate effectively with the broader kitchen brigade to ensure seamless service during peak dining and event times.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and HACCP food-handling regulations at all times.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of proven pastry experience in a reputable hotel, bakery, or fine dining restaurant.
- Relevant culinary school diploma, hotel management degree, or equivalent professional certification.
- Deep passion for the culinary arts, specifically baking and pastry design, with a strong willingness to learn.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced luxury kitchen.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
