About the Role
iCare Clinics is a leading consortium of eye care professionals dedicated to providing innovative, preventive eye care solutions and promoting ocular health across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a passionate and driven Optometrist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will combine clinical excellence with strong organizational skills to deliver top-tier patient care while actively participating in clinic operations, patient experience enhancement, and business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose ocular conditions, and prescribe appropriate corrective measures.
- Provide patient education on preventive eye care, disease prevention, and proper ocular safety.
- Collaborate with the management team to streamline clinic operations and improve overall patient experience.
- Participate in business growth initiatives, marketing efforts, and community outreach programs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient electronic health records in compliance with professional standards.
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree or equivalent relevant optometry qualification.
- Valid practicing license from the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Board of Nigeria (ODBN).
- Open to experienced professionals, recent graduates, and NYSC members seeking internship placements.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in clinic management and business development is an added advantage.
- Full-time employment, NYSC, and internship opportunities available.
- Favorable work schedule: Monday to Saturday, with alternate Saturdays off.
