We are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated Optician to join our growing clinical team and help us deliver exceptional vision solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret prescriptions written by Optometrists and advise patients on suitable frame and lens options.
- Measure, fit, adapt, and adjust eyewear, and perform minor repairs such as replacing hinges, temples, and nose pads.
- Obtain precise client measurements including pupillary distance, bridge and eye size, vertex distance, and optical centres using specialized devices.
- Prepare and submit work orders to the laboratory for lens grinding and custom eyewear fabrication.
- Verify the quality and exact measurements of finished lenses and materials returned from the lab against specifications.
- Maintain accurate patient records, process contact lens and glasses orders efficiently, and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of your professional expertise.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven professional experience as an Optician.
- Relevant Diploma or degree in Opticianry or a closely related field.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer-handling skills.
