About the Role
Doheney Services Ltd, a premier Human Resource Consulting firm established in November 2004, is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Operations Manager for one of our key industry clients. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, optimizing manufacturing processes, and leading high-performing teams to achieve organizational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and direct production operations, ensuring maximum efficiency and adherence to strict quality assurance standards.
- Develop and implement robust production planning and scheduling strategies to meet operational targets.
- Manage machinery maintenance, operational reporting, and inventory control to minimize downtime.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide production teams to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Enforce strict compliance with industry health and safety standards across all operational workflows.
- OND or HND in Polymer Science, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant production operations management experience.
- Proven background in managing manufacturing or recycling operations.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and operational reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other essential productivity tools.
- Prior experience in PET bottle recycling, plastic processing, or polyester fibre production will be a distinct advantage.
