About the Role
Mercy Whyte Salon is a premium, modern unisex beauty and grooming destination located in the heart of Lekki, Lagos. Positioned as a mindful luxury experience, our salon features sophisticated, automated interior designs catering to discerning male and female clientele. We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to optimize our daily business functions, enhance service delivery, and maintain our high standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily salon operations to ensure seamless workflow, exceptional customer service, and adherence to brand standards.
- Manage inventory levels for beauty products and salon supplies, coordinating timely procurement and stock control.
- Supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff, fostering a positive, productive, and customer-centric work culture.
- Monitor financial performance, assist with budgeting, track daily revenue, and manage payroll processing.
- Implement efficient scheduling systems for clients and staff to maximize salon capacity and minimize wait times.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations across all service areas.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in operations management, preferably within the luxury retail, hospitality, or beauty industry.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-first mindset.
- Proficiency in salon management software, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced luxury environment.
- Lagos resident with strong local market awareness is strongly preferred.
