As a Nursery Teacher at Dabitos Schools, you will play a key role in laying the foundation for children's academic, social, and emotional development. You will work closely with parents, colleagues, and school administrators to ensure every child receives quality care and age-appropriate instruction that supports their growth.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support early childhood learning and development
- Create a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment for young learners
- Monitor and assess pupils' progress, behavior, and developmental milestones
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth through structured play and activities
- Maintain effective communication with parents regarding children's progress
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school management to enhance the curriculum
- Ensure the wellbeing, discipline, and safety of pupils at all times
- Prepare and organize teaching materials, displays, and learning resources
- NCE, OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Proven experience teaching nursery or early years pupils preferred
- Strong understanding of child development and early learning methodologies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
- Patient, creative, and passionate about working with young children
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented school environment
- Good command of English language, both spoken and written
