About the Role

Masters Ville Children School, a leading Montessori institution in Ajao Estate, Isolo, Lagos, is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Class Teacher to join our team of committed educators. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the early educational journey of children through creative, engaging, and age-appropriate teaching methods rooted in the Montessori philosophy.

Since its establishment in 2004, Masters Ville Children School has been committed to providing first-class early childhood education for children aged 3 months to 8 years. As a Nursery Class Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that supports the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of every child in your care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Montessori curriculum for nursery-aged children.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning.
  • Monitor and assess each child's developmental progress, providing feedback to parents and school management.
  • Foster the social, emotional, and cognitive development of pupils through structured and unstructured activities.
  • Integrate ICT tools and modern teaching aids to enhance classroom instruction.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupils' attendance, performance, and behaviour.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to ensure a consistent and high-quality learning experience.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being.
  • Ensure classroom safety, hygiene, and discipline are maintained at all times.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of NCE (NCE, B.Ed., B.Sc./B.A. with PGDE or equivalent).
  • Relevant teaching experience in a reputable nursery or early years school.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • ICT compliant with the ability to integrate technology into classroom teaching.
  • Strong passion for early childhood education and child development.
  • Patient, creative, and nurturing personality suited for handling young children.
  • Willingness to grow professionally and embrace continuous learning.
