About the Role
One Acre Fund is a reputable nonprofit organization dedicated to supplying smallholder farmers in East Africa with essential asset-based financing and comprehensive agriculture training services to effectively reduce hunger and poverty. We are currently looking for a talented Nigeria Tech Specialist to join our dynamic team in Minna, Nigeria, on a 2-year contract to drive our digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain scalable mobile, web, backend, and data solutions supporting both online and offline use cases.
- Contribute to technical architecture, secure data models, robust APIs, and reliable synchronization patterns.
- Leverage approved AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate development speed, coding, testing, and debugging.
- Implement secure software practices, automated testing, continuous integration, and operational monitoring safeguards.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and operations teams to translate business requirements into impactful solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of software engineering experience, including 3 years delivering production full-stack applications.
- Proficiency with modern frameworks such as Flutter, React Native, React, Next.js, and backend stacks like Node.js or Python.
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and safe AI coding tool utilization.
