About the Role
One Acre Fund is a dynamic nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting smallholder farmers across Africa with asset-based financing and agricultural training to reduce hunger and poverty. We are currently seeking a motivated Supply Chain Coordinator to lead our logistics and delivery operations based in Minna, Niger, Nigeria. In this vital role, you will help build a robust, data-driven delivery network that ensures essential agricultural inputs reach farmers reliably, on time, and in full.
Key Responsibilities- Lead regional and nationwide last-mile delivery operations, optimizing our owned fleet capacity and managing strategic third-party logistics (3PL) transport partner relationships.
- Oversee daily warehouse dispatch operations, execute precise route planning, and continuously improve logistics workflows to guarantee timely fulfillment.
- Utilize logistics metrics and transport data to track performance gaps, optimize transport spend, and drive sustainable cost efficiencies across distribution networks.
- Direct, mentor, and develop the logistics team while collaborating closely with Warehouse Operations, Procurement, and Quality Assurance units.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in fleet management, last-mile delivery, and managing 3PL logistics networks.
- Proven track record in warehouse dispatch management, route planning, and driving on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery efficiencies.
- Strong analytical and data skills to evaluate transport spend and make informed, data-driven logistics decisions.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to manage, mentor, and build high-performing teams in Nigeria.
