About the Role

In this vital role, you will play a crucial part in delivering specialized care to patients suffering from kidney diseases, ensuring they receive the highest standard of medical attention and emotional support throughout their treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities- Administer hemodialysis treatments safely and monitor patients' vital signs and physical responses before, during, and after the procedure.
- Educate patients and their families on home care routines, dietary restrictions, and necessary lifestyle adjustments related to renal health.
- Collaborate closely with nephrologists, physicians, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to formulate and execute comprehensive patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient medical records in strict compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain hemodialysis equipment to ensure optimal performance and patient safety.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
- Specialized certification or formal training in nephrology nursing.
- Proven clinical experience in administering dialysis care within a reputable medical facility.
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating various types of hemodialysis equipment.
- Active membership in the Nigerian Association of Nephrology Nurses (NANNO).
- Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills with a commitment to patient-centered healthcare.
