About the Role
Maurice Xandra Solutions is a premier management consulting firm specializing in human resources, process improvement, and strategic management. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nationwide Branch Expansion Manager to spearhead our ambitious growth strategy across Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in scaling our operational footprint, driving market penetration, and establishing our presence in high-potential commercial hubs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute nationwide branch expansion strategies and comprehensive rollout plans.
- Identify and assess potential markets and locations based on commercial viability and demographic data.
- Lead regulatory licensing, CBN approvals, and statutory compliance for all new branch locations.
- Oversee site acquisition, lease negotiations, architectural construction, and branch fit-outs.
- Manage expansion budgets, contractors, vendors, and project timelines to guarantee efficiency.
- Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams to ensure new branches are fully operational prior to launch.
- Monitor initial branch performance, profitability, customer acquisition, and deposit growth.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with regulators, landlords, local authorities, and community stakeholders.
- Lead multidisciplinary expansion teams and ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, Estate Management, or a related field.
- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, or fintech, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role focusing on branch expansion or business development.
- Proven track record of managing successful multi-location or nationwide expansion projects in Nigeria.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) licensing requirements and banking regulations.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management, financial modelling, site selection, and vendor management.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Demonstrated experience engaging directly with Boards and Board Committees.
- Master’s degree, MBA, or relevant professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or ACIB will be an added advantage.
