About the Role
Masters Ville Children School, a foremost Montessori institution in Ajao Estate, Isolo, Lagos, is seeking a warm, attentive, and responsible Nanny to join our dedicated childcare team. The successful candidate will provide loving, hands-on care for children in our Crèche and Pre-school sections, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall wellbeing throughout the school day.
Since 2004, Masters Ville Children School has been committed to delivering first-class early childhood education and care, catering to children from 3 months to 18 years across our Crèche, Pre-school, Elementary, and After School programmes. As a Nanny, you will play a vital role in supporting our youngest learners, working closely with teachers and caregivers to create a nurturing, stimulating, and secure environment for every child in your care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide attentive, loving care to infants and young children throughout the school day
- Assist with feeding, diapering, napping, and other daily routines
- Monitor children's health, safety, and emotional wellbeing at all times
- Support teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities and routines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for children
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding each child's needs and progress
- Respond promptly and calmly to children's needs, including minor injuries or distress
- Assist with supervision during outdoor play, naps, and mealtimes
- Ensure all children are picked up and handed over safely at the end of the day
- Minimum of SSCE, NCE, or equivalent qualification
- Prior experience working with infants or young children in a nursery, crèche, or home setting is an advantage
- Excellent spoken English and good communication skills
- Patient, nurturing, and genuinely fond of children
- Good hygiene practices and basic understanding of child safety
