About the Role
The Centre for Communication and Social Impact (CCSI) is looking for a talented and experienced Multimedia Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. This role is central to visually capturing and communicating our organization's impact through high-quality video content, documentaries, and multimedia storytelling that supports our mission of using communication to drive social and behavior change.
As Multimedia Officer, you will conceptualize, produce, and deliver engaging video content that brings our programs to life, showcasing success stories, field activities, and measurable outcomes to a wide range of stakeholders including government partners, donors, and the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the planning, shooting, editing, and production of high-quality video content that supports organizational projects and campaigns.
- Develop creative concepts, scripts, and storyboards that effectively convey key messages to diverse audiences.
- Produce dynamic, platform-optimized video content for social media, websites, and other digital channels.
- Direct and produce short and long-form documentaries that highlight success stories and field impact.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout pre-production, production, and post-production stages.
- Provide video coverage for organizational events, field activities, and project implementations, including stakeholder interviews.
- Manage and curate a well-organized digital archive of video footage for easy retrieval and repurposing.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) to produce polished, broadcast-quality content.
- Research and implement new tools, techniques, and trends to keep multimedia output innovative and engaging.
- Develop quarterly production workplans and dissemination plans, recommending adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with Creative, Media, Program, and Executive teams to align multimedia content with organizational goals.
- Manage the setup, maintenance, and inventory of video production equipment, recommending upgrades as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Multimedia, Communications, Film Production, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in video production, documentary filmmaking, or multimedia content creation.
- Prior experience in the development sector is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated expertise in producing high-quality video content for social media, websites, and large-scale campaigns.
- A strong professional portfolio showcasing documentaries, interviews, and event coverage.
