About the Role
BIC Nigeria, Africa's premier agribusiness company, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Moulding Manager to lead our injection workshop operations. Key Responsibilities- Manage and optimize the overall production of the injection workshop, ensuring the availability of raw materials, components, and technical resources.
- Design performance monitoring tools to track production output, employee productivity, and adherence to manufacturing schedules.
- Collaborate closely with the Quality Department to enforce manufacturing procedures, reduce defects, and manage non-conforming products.
- Partner with the Maintenance Department to ensure the continuous proper operating condition of machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment.
- Enforce strict safety and environmental standards, actively participating in workplace risk reduction and compliance initiatives.
- Lead personnel management by organizing workflows, conducting technical training, onboarding new employees, and evaluating team performance.
- Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) while driving continuous improvement plans.
- Bachelor's degree or Higher National Technician Diploma in Plastics Processing (Plasturgy), Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in a similar position within an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in a multinational plastics company.
- Strong, demonstrated knowledge of advanced plastics processing techniques.
- Expertise in injection molding machine setup and adjustment techniques, including single-material and multi-material molds.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills with a team-oriented approach.
