About the Role

Back Pouch By Providha, in partnership with Uleval Technology, is seeking a talented and passionate Mixologist to design innovative cocktail recipes and oversee daily bar operations. This role is perfect for a creative beverage professional with a deep understanding of spirits, flavor pairings, and premium drink presentation who wants to make a mark in Nigeria's growing hospitality scene.

As our Mixologist, you will be responsible for crafting unique, high-end cocktail experiences that delight guests while maintaining efficient bar management practices. You will work closely with the bar and floor staff to ensure consistent quality, creativity, and exceptional customer service at every turn.

• Design unique, signature craft cocktails and develop rotating seasonal drink menus.
• Accurately prepare, mix, and garnish both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to the highest standard.
• Monitor stock levels, order spirits and fresh produce, and implement waste-reduction strategies.
• Train and mentor bar and floor staff on new drink profiles, ingredients, and service standards.
• Engage with guests, share drink origins and stories, and tailor recommendations to individual preferences.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Stay updated on emerging cocktail trends, flavor science, and modern presentation techniques.

• Formal training or certification in mixology or bartending.
• Proven experience crafting signature cocktails and managing bar operations.
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, flavor pairings, and cocktail history.
• Strong creativity and ability to develop innovative flavor combinations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for guest interaction.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items such as kegs or liquor cases.
• Strong attention to detail, hygiene, and presentation standards.
