In this field-based role, you will play a crucial part in expanding our merchant network by driving the acquisition, onboarding, and activation of supermarkets and other qualifying ethical businesses. Key Responsibilities- Identify, engage, and onboard qualified merchants within your assigned territory to expand the business footprint.
- Complete comprehensive Know Your Customer (KYC) verifications and collate all required onboarding documentation.
- Deploy, install, and successfully activate point-of-sale (POS) terminals for newly onboarded merchants.
- Drive continuous merchant transaction usage and actively monitor daily merchant activity to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide reliable support for merchant account opening and resolve initial operational challenges.
- Achieve and surpass daily, weekly, and monthly field acquisition and activation targets.
- Possession of an HND or B.Sc. degree in any relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated willingness and physical stamina to work in the field daily and meet aggressive targets.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Prior proven experience in direct sales, merchant acquisition, POS/fintech operations, or the banking sector will be a distinct advantage.
