About the Role
Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent De Paul Hospital is a reputable faith-based healthcare institution located in Kubwa, Abuja. We are committed to bridging the gap between formal public health services and the primary healthcare needs of the community, particularly underserved populations. We are currently seeking a compassionate, skilled, and driven Medical Officer to join our dynamic clinical team and deliver high-standard medical care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnosing and treating a wide range of diseases, illnesses, and medical conditions
- Assessing patient needs, prescribing appropriate therapies and medications, and dispensing drugs in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Ordering laboratory investigations, interpreting test results, and monitoring patient recovery progress
- Conducting thorough face-to-face clinical evaluations and managing patient records accurately
- Performing minor and major surgical procedures based on clinical competency and patient requirements
- Providing empathetic counseling and education to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans
- Maintaining strict adherence to medical quality assurance and clinical control standards
- Supervising, mentoring, and training junior medical personnel and trainee doctors
- Must possess a recognized MBBS degree from a reputable institution
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical work experience in a recognized hospital setting
- Valid practicing license and all necessary professional certifications
